Sun Control film or tints improve comfort, protect from harmful UV, prevent glare and reduce fading of furnishings. Not only does it create privacy during the day, but architectural tinting also enhances the uniform look of a building.
Safety & Security
Safety films hold broken glass and increase penetration resistance, making glass stronger and glass breakage safer. Windows provide an easy entry point for intrusion, and while the security film is not bulletproof, it does provide protection by slowing down the “unwelcomed”. The protection offered depends on the film chose, but also on workmanship.
Officeart works closely with our clients to understand what type of protection is required. We select films from worldwide known brands (3M or Saint Gobain’s Solarguard) that meet the relevant standards like ANSI Z97 or 16 CFR CPSC 1201 or AS/NZS2208. We also recommend using attachment systems for increase protection.
Due to our knowledge and skilled installers, we were selected to install security film for MSD offices around Auckland during 2021 and 2022, at the request of the main contractor Kalmar Interiors.
